Rahvixet

Vuosijuhlakauden pikajuna on ottanut kierrokset huippuunsa ja lähenee sinikultaisena hohtavaa, kaiken huipentavaa, päätepysäkkiä. Nuorimpien kyltereiden mielet valtaa huoli odottavasta nakkeilun taakasta. Vanhempi polvi ottaa stressiä jokaisesta pienestäkin yksityiskohdasta, käyttäen päivien tunneistaan lukemattomia määriä miettien, miten pukeutua, miten laittaa hiukset ja miten käyttäytyä juhlaetiketin mukaisesti. EIKÖ OLEKIN RASKASTA!?

Kulttis saapuukin pelastavan ja lihaksikkaan enkelin ottein tarjoamaan vaihtelua vuosijuhlaviikon jäykkään tunnelmaan. Luvassa on tietysti RAHVIXET eli Anti-Vuosijuhlat. Näissä juhlissa ei etiketeillä tai muilla turhanpäiväisyyksillä juhlakansaa vaivata ja näihin juhliin on myös puput kutsuttu <3. Illan aikana päästään nauttimaan herkullisesta kolmen ruokalajin illallisesta, maittavista virvokkeista sekä tietenkin toinen toistaan viihdyttävämmistä ohjelmanumeroista! Lisäksi illan loppupuolella tehdään legendaarinen Rahvis-excursio, jonka päämäärää ei vielä julkisteta, mutta kannattaa pakata mukaan myös säänkestävää varustusta.

No milloin nää syksyn ainutlaatusimmat juhlat sit järkätää? Rahvixet järjestetään 23.10. Parkilla klo 18:00, ovet aukeavat 17:45. Lipun hinta on 14 euroa ja siihen sisältyy juhlan arvon mukainen kolmen ruokalajin illallinen, juotavaa, mieleenpainuvia ohjelmanumeroita, haalarimerkki sekä bussikuljetukset parkilta seuraavaan tapahtumapaikkaan ja jatkoille. Liput tapahtumaan myydään Kide.appissa 17.10. KLO 12.

Ja ennen kuin kukaan rakas pupunen tai kokematon rusakko luulee, niin nämä EIVÄT ole mitkään sitsit 🙂 Rahvisten hienous on siinä, ettei niitä voi täysin selittää, ne pitää kokea, ne pitää elää. Ja jos olet varannut jo tentin samalle illalle tai seuraavalle aamulle niin ei hätää. Tenttien siirtäminen on taito, joka kannattaa ehdottomasti oppia!

Rahvixet (perinteisemmin rahvikset (alunperin rahvaanjuhlat)) ovat TuKYn vanhin edelleen järjestettävä tapahtuma. Näillä juhlilla on viihdytetty juhlakansaa jo vuodesta 1967. Tule siis itse paikalle kokemaan mistä nämä historiallisen hienot pippalot on oikein tehty!!

The express train of the annual ball season has reached full speed and is approaching its final, golden-blue shining, grand finale. The youngest business students are consumed with worry about the looming burden of the countless tasks awaiting them at the ball. The older generation stresses over every little detail, spending countless hours of their days thinking about how to dress, how to style their hair, and how to behave according to the etiquette of the celebration. ISN’T IT EXHAUSTING!?

That’s where Kulttis comes in, like a saving and muscular angel, offering a refreshing break from the stiff atmosphere of the annual ball week. What’s on the agenda? RAHVIXET, of course – the Anti-Annual ball Celebration! At this party, guests won’t be bothered with etiquette or any other trivial formalities, and even the bunnies (first-year students) are warmly invited <3. During the evening, there will be delicious food, tasty drinks, and, naturally, entertaining performances one after the other! At the end of the night, we’ll embark on the legendary Rahvis excursion, the destination of which remains a mystery for now, but it’s recommended to bring weather-appropriate gear.

So, when are these one-of-a-kind autumn festivities happening? Rahvixet will be held on October 23rd at Parkki, starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are 14 euros, including food and drinks worthy of the event, memorable performances, an overall patch, and bus transport from Parkki to the next venue and the afterparty. Tickets will be sold on Kide.app on October 17th at 12:00 noon. Please note that the event will be held entirely in Finnish!!

And before any dear bunny or inexperienced hare gets the wrong idea, this is NOT a sitz party! The beauty of Rahvixet lies in the fact that they can’t fully be explained – they must be experienced, they must be lived. And if you’ve already scheduled an exam for the same evening or the next morning, don’t worry. Learning how to reschedule exams is a skill well worth mastering!

Rahvixet (more traditionally known as Rahvikset, originally ”Rahvaanjuhlat”) is the oldest continuously organized event of TuKY. These festivities have entertained partygoers since 1967. So come and experience for yourself what makes these historically epic celebrations so special!
