KOKOUSKUTSU: Turun KY:n syyskokous 2.11.2026 / NOTICE OF THE MEETING: General Autumn Assembly of Turun KY on November 2nd 2026

Hyvä Turun KY:n jäsen!
Turun kauppatieteiden ylioppilaat ry järjestää sääntömääräisen syyskokouksen maanantaina 2.11.2026 klo 16:00 Turun kauppakorkeakoulun Osuuskauppa-salissa.
Yhdistyksen kokous käyttää yhdistyksen ylintä päätösvaltaa. Kokouksessa äänivaltaisia ovat kaikki yhdistyksen varsinaiset jäsenet. Omaa äänioikeuttaan voi käyttää vain paikan päällä kokouksessa. Kokousta voi seurata myös livestreamin kautta, mutta huomaathan, että etänä ei ole mahdollista äänestää.
Kokouksessa esitetään hyväksyttäviksi sääntömääräisinä Turun KY:n talousarvio, toimintasuunnitelma, jäsenmaksu, tilintarkastajien valinta ja kunniaseuran kokoonpano vuodelle 2027.
Syyskokouksessa valitaan myös yhdistyksen hallitus vuodelle 2027.
Vastausaika Turun KY:n hallitushaun ennakkokysymyksiin sulkeutuu sunnuntaina 25.10. klo 23:59. Ennakkokysymykset löytyvät Turun KY:n nettisivuilta. Ennakkoon ehdokkaaksi ilmoittautuneet ja heidän vastauksensa ennakkokysymyksiin voit lukea maanantaista 26.10. alkaen Turun KY:n nettisivuilta. Ehdolle voi asettua kuitenkin vielä itse syyskokouksessa sekä Osuuskauppa-salissa järjestettävässä hallitushaastattelussa perjantaina 30.10.2026 klo 16:30. Hallitushaastattelun kysymyksiin ei voi vastata etänä.
Hallitukseen hakijat osallistuvat syyskokoukseen lähtökohtaisesti paikan päällä Osuuskauppa-salissa. Hallitukseen voi hakea etänä vain äärimmäisen painavasta syystä ja asiasta tulee ilmoittaa etukäteen hallituksen puheenjohtajalle (puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi) viimeistään maanantaina 2.11.2026 klo 12:00.
Ote yhdistyslaista: Hallitus tai yhdistyksen kokous voi päättää, että yhdistyksen kokoukseen saa osallistua 1–3 momentissa säädetyn lisäksi postin taikka tietoliikenneyhteyden ja teknisen apuvälineen avulla ennen yhdistyksen kokousta tai kokouksen aikana, jollei säännöissä rajoiteta tai kielletä tällaisen osallistumiskeinon tarjoamista. Hallitus tai yhdistyksen kokous voi päättää, että tässä momentissa tarkoitetulla tavalla voi käyttää vain osaa jäsenen oikeuksista ja että oikeutta voi käyttää vain sen päättämällä tavalla, jollei säännöissä toisin määrätä.
Kuntalaiset voivat seurata tilaisuutta ja esittää kysymyksiä joko paikan päällä tai Youtube-livestreamin kautta. Linkki streamiin julkaistaan Turun KY:n nettisivujen tapahtumakalenterissa sekä Instagramissa.
Kokousmateriaalit on toimitettu kuntalaisille sähköpostitse yhdistyksen hallituksen puheenjohtajan Emma Torniaisen toimesta. Kokouksen nopeuttamiseksi liitteisiin tulee perehtyä huolellisesti jo ennen kokousta ja mahdolliset muutosesitykset ja kysymykset miettiä etukäteen. Syyskokouksessa hallitushakijoiden esittäytymisaika on rajattu, minkä takia kannustamme esittämään laajemmat yleisökysymykset ehdokkaille jo hallitushaastattelussa kokousta edeltävänä perjantaina. Epäselvissä tilanteissa kysymyksiä voi ja kannattaa esittää etukäteen hallituksen puheenjohtajalle Emma Torniaiselle (puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi).

Dear member of Turun KY,
Turun kauppatieteiden ylioppilaat ry (The Association of Economics Students’ in Turku) will hold its statutory Autumn Assembly on Monday, 2nd of November 2026 at 16:00 in Osuuskauppa-sali at Turku School of Economics.
The General Meeting holds the highest decision-making power of the Association. All regular members of the Association have the right to vote at the meeting. Voting rights may only be exercised in person at the meeting venue. The meeting will also be streamed live, but please note that remote participation does not entitle you to vote.
The meeting will decide on the following statutory matters for the year 2027: the budget, the action plan, the membership fee, the election of auditors, and the composition of the Honorary Committee.
The Board of the Association for 2027 will also be elected at the Autumn General Meeting.
The response period for Turun KY’s board application preliminary questions closes on Sunday, October 25th, at 11:59 PM. The pre-questions can be found on Turun KY’s website. You can read the pre-announced board candidates and their answers to preliminary questions on Turun KY’s website on Monday 26th of October. However, candidates may still nominate themselves either during the Autumn Meeting or at the Board grill, which will take place on Friday, 30 of October 2026 at 16:30 in Osuuskauppa-sali. Please note that remote participation in the Board grill is not possible.
Board candidates are expected to attend the Autumn Meeting in person at Osuuskauppa-sali. Applying for a board position remotely is possible only for a particularly compelling reason, and this must be communicated in advance to the Chair of the Board (puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi) no later than Monday, 2nd of November 2026 at 12:00.
Excerpt from the Associations Act:
The board or the general meeting of an association may decide that members are allowed to participate in the meeting, in addition to what is provided in subsections 1–3, by post or by using a data connection and a technical device before or during the meeting, unless restricted or prohibited by the association’s rules. The board or the general meeting may also decide that only some of the members’ rights can be exercised in this manner and only in the manner determined by the board or the meeting, unless otherwise provided in the rules.
All members are welcome to follow the meeting and present questions either on-site or via the YouTube livestream. The link to the stream will be published on Turun KY’s website’s event calendar and Instagram.
The assembly’s appendices have been sent out by the Chair of the Board via email. To ensure an efficient meeting, please familiarise yourself with all appendices in advance and consider any possible amendment proposals or questions beforehand. At the Autumn Assembly, the time for board candidates’ introductions will be limited, so we encourage you to present broader questions to the candidates already during the Board Interviews on the preceding Friday. In case of uncertainties, you may and are encouraged to contact the Chair of the Board, Emma Torniainen (puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi), in advance.
