Kevät aurinko porottaa jo kuumimmillaan ja biitsikelit lähestyvät! On aika Trilogian tämän vuoden viimeiseen tapahtumaan eli tietysti Amazing Raceen, jossa teemana on RANTALOMA. Tämä huikea wapputapahtuma järjestetään torstaina 23.4. Luvassa on Turun alueen laajuinen rastikierros, jossa kilpailijat liikkuvat rastilta toiselle vihjeiden avulla kuin etsien Heikki Paasosta konsanaan. Huhujen mukaan myös huikeita palkintoja on jaossa, joten muista olla skarppina kisaillessa!
Koska Trilogian kaltaiset opiskelijat eivät yksin ole riittävän päteviä arvoitusten ratkaisijoita, tapahtuma suoritetaan yhdessä omasta ainejärjestöstäsi valitun parin kanssa. Jokaisesta ainejärjestöstä mukaan mahtuu 44 paria, joista muodostetaan ennen kilpailun alkua poikkitieteelliset neljän hengen joukkueet. Eli oman parisi lisäksi joukkueessasi on pari myös toisesta tiedekunnasta! Kilpailu käydään kolmessa Puolalanpuistosta lähtevässä lähdössä: ensimmäinen lähtö klo 16, toinen klo 16.30 ja viimeinen lähtö klo 17. Rastit sulkeutuvat klo 20.30 ja maalialue klo 21. Kisan jälkeen jatkoja vietetään klo 22 eteenpäin Saaristobaarissa, jossa tapahtuu myös palkintojenjako.
Tapahtuman hinta on 16€/pari, korostaen siis että lippu maksaa vain 8€/hlö. Hintaan sisältyy kierros, jatkot sekä trilogiakokonaisuuden viimeinen haalarimerkki molemmille! Tapahtumaan ilmoittaudutaan pareittain siten, että toinen parista hoitaa ilmoittautumisen. HUOM! Yksilölippuja ei myydä tänä vuonna!
Liput rastikierrokselle tulevat myyntiin wappulipunmyynnissä 6.4. klo 12. Mikäli edellisenpäivän wappuriennot painavat aamulla liikaa, on myös mahdollista ostaa lippu pelkästään jatkoille. Jatkolippu maksaa 3,5€.

On holiday at last, I can take it easier…
The spring sun is already shining at its hottest and beach weather is approaching! It is time for the final Trilogy event of the year, which is of course the Amazing Race, with the theme BEACH HOLIDAY. This amazing Wappu event will be held on Thursday, April 23rd. There will be a checkpoint crawl spanning the Turku area, where competitors move from one checkpoint to another with the help of clues, just like searching for Heikki Paasonen himself. Rumor has it that there are also amazing prizes up for grabs, so remember to stay sharp while competing!
Since students like those in the Trilogy are not competent enough to solve riddles alone, the event is completed together with a partner chosen from your own student association. Each association has room for 44 pairs, which will be formed into interdisciplinary four-person teams before the start of the competition. So, in addition to your own partner, your team will also have a pair from another faculty! The competition will be held in three starts departing from Puolalanpuisto: the first start at 16:00, the second at 16:30, and the last start at 17:00. The checkpoints close at 20:30 and the finish area at 21:00. After the race, the afterparty will be held from 22:00 onwards at Saaristobaari, where the prize ceremony will also take place.
The price of the event is 16 €/pair, emphasizing that the ticket costs only 8 €/person. The price includes the crawl, the afterparty, and the final overall patch of the trilogy for both! Registration for the event is done in pairs so that one of the partners handles the registration. NOTE! Individual tickets will not be sold this year!
Tickets for the checkpoint crawl go on sale on April 6th at 12:00. If the previous day’s Wappu celebrations weigh too heavily in the morning, it is also possible to buy a ticket for the afterparty only. The afterparty ticket costs 3.5 €.
