KIERTIKSET!!!

Seuraavaksi ote kuuluisasta Suomalaisesta 1300-luvulla alkunsa saaneesta julistuksesta. Vuodesta 1886 lähtien julistus on perinteeksi muodostuneesti luettu Brinkkalan talon parvekkeelta Turun Vanhalta Suurtorilta. Tai sitten ei. Nykyinen sanamuoto on peräisin vuodelta 2026.
“Huomenna, jos kuski suo,
on meidän Kiertistemme ja Bussibileidemme
armorikas syntymäjuhla;
ja julistetaan siis täten yleinen Kiertisbilerauha kehoittamalla
kaikkia tätä juhlaa asiaankuuluvalla riettaudella viettämään
sekä muutoin äänekkäästi ja riemukkaasti käyttäytymään,
sillä se, joka tämän rauhan rikkoo ja bussibileitä jollakin
jarruttelulla taikka negatiivisella käytöksellä häiritsee,
on raskauttavien asianhaarain vallitessa syypää siihen
mulkkaukseen, jonka bilekansa ja Ulkkiksen asetukset kustakin bussiin kakkaamisesta
erikseen säätävät. Lopuksi toivotetaan bussin
kaikille juhlijoille riemullista KIERTISJUHLAA!”
Niin se vaan on! Kauan odotetut… ikoniset… räväkät… KIERTIKSET ovat taas täällä!!
Ulkkiksen huippusuosituissa bussibileissä pysäkkeinä eivät suinkaan toimi kovina seisovat tolpat, jotka myös bussipysäkkeinä tunnetaan, vaan bussit kuljettavat juhlivat kyytiläiset moniin Turun ikonisiin nähtävyyksiin ja maamerkkeihin!
Kiertisten teemana on tänä vuonna alter egot! Paljasta siis häpeilemättä sisinpäsi pukeutumalla juuri siksi hahmoksi, sankariksi, hirviöksi, staraksi, julkkikseksi, raksaukoksi tai ihan miksi tahansa mitä sielunpeilistäsi heijastuu! Kiertisbussissa riittää hyvin kapasitettia antaa jokaisen alteregotähden loistaa, joten älä turhaan pienentele omaa tai alteregosi persoonaa vaan heittäydy hyvitteluun täysillä!
Bussit starttaavat Parkinkadun päästä Vatselankadulta, Turun Kauppakorkeakoulun vierestä keskiviikkona 14.10. Hillittömien kurvien suoristuttua päätepysäkkinä toimii Puutori, mutta vaikka juhlakansa jättääkin kuusirenkaiset ratsunsa siihen, jatkuu ilta B2S jatkoilla Fortessa klo 22 eteenpäin! Back 2 School jatkot ovat tuttuun tapaan poikkitieteelliset, ja tällä kertaa Kauppiksen alter egot pääsevät tutustumaan Lexiläisten oikeisiin egoihin! Kiertisten villit ja vauhdikkaat alter egot pääsevät jatkoille tyylikkäästi ilmaiseksi vilauttamalla B2S haalarimerkkiä portsarille.
Nuhjuista bussikorttia ei tarvitse lähteä latailemaan, sillä liput tähän kiivaaseen kyytiin myydään Kide.appissa 7.10. klo.12. Vaikka alter egollasi olisi monta persoonallisuutta, riittää yksi lippu silti vallan mainiosti. Tämä tapahtumarikas ja ikimuistoinen reiviajelu maksaa 18€ per naama, eli ei paha! Lippu sisältää tietenkin railakkaan bussimatkan moneen eri Turun nähtävyyteen, haalarimerkin ja B2S jatkot! Mikäli sukkelat sormesi eivät kerkeä saamaan lippua bussiin tai haluat päästää aleter egosi valloilleen ainoastaan jatkoilla, voit myös hankkia lipun pelkästään Forteen hintaan 5€ sisältäen haalarimerkin. Lipunmyyntilinkit tipahtavat sähköpostiisi myöhemmin.
Kiertiksiltä löytyy 4 säpäkkää bussia: 2 pupubussia, 1 rusakkobussi sekä 1 monenlaisten alter egojen sekabussi, josta löytyy molempia! Bussit on värikoodattu, joten samaan bilebussiin haluavien kannattaa ostaa liput saman väriseen bussiin. Kaikki kyytiläiset saavat bussiin mätsäävän värikoodatun rannekkeen, joka kertoo mihin bussiin kukin alterego kuuluu. Bussin vaihtaminen kesken reitin on kiellettyä ja rannekkeet tarkistetaan aina ennen bussiin palaamista.
Tapahtuma alkaa klo. 16:30 ja divoja kun ovat, bussit eivät odota myöhästelijöitä! Ole siis mielummin hyvissä ajoin kuin liian myöhään.

Next, an excerpt from the famous Finnish proclamation, which dates back to the 14th century. Since 1886, it has become a tradition for the proclamation to be read from the balcony of the Brinkkala House on Turku’s Old Great Square. Or perhaps not. The current wording dates from 2026.
“Tomorrow, God willing,
is the grand birthday celebration
of our Kiertis and Ulkkis;
and so a general Kiertis festival truce is hereby declared, urging
everyone to celebrate this festival with appropriate revelry
and otherwise to behave noisily and joyfully,
for whoever breaks this peace and disrupts the bus parties by any
means of holding them back or through negative behaviour,
is, given the aggravating circumstances, the cause of
the mayhem for which the party crowd and Ulkkis’s regulations provide separately
for each bus turd. Finally, we wish all the revellers on the bus
a joyous ROUND-TRIP PARTY!”
That’s just how it is! The long-awaited… iconic… wild… KIERTIKSET are back!!
On Ulkkis’ hugely popular bus tours, the stops aren’t just those sturdy poles commonly known as bus stops – instead, the buses take revellers to many of Turku’s iconic sights and landmarks!
This year’s theme for the parade is alter egos! So don’t be shy – reveal your inner self by dressing up as whatever character, hero, monster, star, celebrity, oddball or absolutely anything else that’s reflected in the mirror of your soul! There’s plenty of room on the Kiertis bus for every alter ego to shine, so don’t hold back – let your true self or your alter ego take centre stage and go all out!
Buses will depart from the end of Parkinkatu on Vatselankatu, next to the Turku School of Economics, on Wednesday 14 October. Once all stops have been driven by, the final stop will be Puutori, but even though the party people will be leaving their six-wheeled steeds there, the evening will continue with the B2S after-party at Forte from 10 pm onwards! As usual, the Back 2 School after-party is interdisciplinary, and this time the Business School’s alter egos will get to meet the Lex students’ true selves! The wild and energetic alter egos of Kiertinen can get into the after-party in style for free by flashing their B2S overalls badge to the doorman.
There’s no need to go and top up your worn-out bus pass, as tickets for this wild ride go on sale on the Kide.app on 7 October at 12 noon. Even if your alter ego has multiple personalities, one ticket will still do just fine. This eventful and unforgettable rave bus tour costs €18 per person – not bad at all! The ticket naturally includes a wild bus ride to various sights around Turku, an overalls badge and the B2S after-party! If your nimble fingers can’t manage to get a ticket for the bus, or if you only want to let your inner party animal run wild at the after-party, you can also buy a ticket just for Forte for €5, which includes an overalls badge. Links to buy tickets will be sent to your email later.
There are four lively buses on the circuit: two first year buses, one older student bus and one mixed bus full of all sorts of alter egos, featuring both types! The buses are colour-coded, so anyone wanting to travel on the same party bus should buy tickets for the same colour. All passengers will receive a colour-coded wristband to match the bus, indicating which bus each alter ego belongs to. Changing buses mid-route is prohibited, and wristbands will always be checked before re-boarding.
The event starts at 4.30 pm, and as these are divas, the buses won’t wait for latecomers! So it’s better to be there in good time than too late.
