VUOSIJUHLAKAUDEN AVAJAISET 6.10.
Vuosijuhlakauden avajaiset on perinteinen tapahtuma, jossa pääsemme nauttimaan alkavan vuosijuhlakauden tunnelmasta. Tapahtuma on merkittävä yhdistyksellemme ja erityisesti teille pupuille, sillä silloin saatte painaa ensimmäistä kertaa Turun KY:n kokardilla varustellun lakin päähänne. Tällöin teistä lakitetaan kuntalaisia ja tulette virallisesti osaksi sinikultaista yhteisöämme!
Tapahtuma järjestetään 6.10. klo 17:30 alkaen Mercatorilla. Illan aikana luvassa on muun muassa juhlapuheita, juomaa sekä elävää musiikkia. Jatkot järjestetään yhdistyksemme sydämessä Bar Montussa klo 21:00 alkaen, jatkuen aina yön pikkutunneille asti. Lisäksi ammattikuvaaja ottaa potretit kaikista tutorryhmistä.
Vuosijuhlakauden avajaisissa on perinteisesti myös palkittu Vuoden Suorittajapupu huikein palkinnoin – muistathan siis palauttaa pupupassisi viimeistään ensi viikon maanantaina tai tiistaina toiminnanjohtajan päivystysvuorojen aikana Wanhaan Narikkaan.
Pukukoodina toimii pikkumusta tai tumma puku sekä ylioppilaslakki. Tapahtuma on ilmainen.

OPENING OF THE ANNUAL BALL SEASON – 6TH OF OCTOBER
The Opening of the Annual Ball Season is a traditional event where we get to enjoy the atmosphere of the upcoming celebration season. The event is particularly significant for our association — and especially for you, our bunnies —as this is when you get to wear your student cap with the Turun KY cockade for the very first time. This means you will officially be capped as members of TuKY and become a part of our blue-and-gold community!
The event will take place at Mercatori starting at 5:30 PM on 6th of October. The evening will include, among other things, ceremonial speeches, drinks, and live music. The afterparty will be held at the heart of our association, Bar Monttu, starting at 9:00 PM and continuing into the early hours of the morning. In addition, a professional photographer will take portraits of all the tutor groups.
Traditionally, the Bunny of the Year will also be awarded at the Opening of the Annual Ball Season, with some amazing prizes! So remember to return your bunny pass no later than this week during the Executive Director’s office hours at Wanha Narikka.
The dress code is a little black dress or a dark suit, together with a student cap. The event is free of charge
