Instructions for the board elections

At Turun KY’s Autumn Meeting on November 3, 2025, the association’s board for 2026 will be elected. The positions of trust will begin on January 1, 2026, and last for one year. The application process for the board has now begun, and all Turun KY’s members are eligible to apply.

It is highly recommended that candidates for the board answer the questions set in advance. The questions and answers will be published on Turun KY’s website during the week prior to the autumn meeting so that members can familiarize themselves with the candidates in advance. If you wish, you can answer questions from more than one sector. Answers must be sent to viestinta@tuky.fi by Sunday, October 26, at 11:59 p.m. A representative photo of the applicant must also be attached to the message, which will be published along with the answers. The preliminary questions can be found below by sector.

Applicants are also encouraged to participate in candidate interviews on Friday, October 31, at 5:00 p.m. in the Osuuskauppasali. However, you can still nominate yourself at the autumn meeting on Monday, November 3, at 4:30 p.m. in the Osuuskauppasali.

By submitting your candidacy in advance, you give voters the opportunity to get to know you based on your preliminary answers and interviews, as the time for introducing candidates at the autumn meeting itself is very limited due to time constraints.

In addition, questions can be sent at any time to the Chair of the board, Ossi Ryynänen (puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi), or to other current board members. Their contact details can be found below under their areas of responsibility.
