NESU-TuKYn Sitz & Pickles -vappusitsit

Heräät tokkuraisena sängystäsi. Katsahdat sivulle ja näet pöydälläsi avatun suolakurkkupurkin. Outoa, mutta ehkä se on vain jäänyt siihen eilisillalta. Koitat muistella eilisen tapahtumia, mutta mieleesi ei oikeastaan juolahda yhtään mitään. Noh ei sitä ihan kaikkea vapun aikana voikaan muistaa. Siispä unohdat asian ja jatkat päivääsi.
Myöhemmin päivällä suuntaat Monttuun syömään. Tarjolla on hyvin suolakurkkupainotteista ruokaa, mikä on jokseenkin kummallista mutta ei vielä hälyttävää. Ei kuitenkaan mene aikaakaan kun alat näkemään suolakurkkuja kaikkialla: somessa, käytävillä ja jopa luentomateriaaleissa. Yhtäkkiä kukaan ei myöskään enää puhu mistään muusta kuin suolakurkuista. Olet vakuuttunut, että jokin psykoosi on vallannut koko yliopiston.
Lopulta kaikki loksahtaa paikalleen ja tajuat, mistä on kyse. Selkeästi kohtalo on kuljettanut sinua oikeaan suuntaan ja antanut merkkejä illalla odottavasta huvista. Kyseessä ei siis olekaan mikään yhteiskunnallinen kriisi, vaan kevään odotetuimmat Sitz & Pickles -vappusitsit!
NESU-TuKYn Sitz & Pickles -vappusitsit järjestetään Montussa lauantaina 25.4. Sitsit maksavat 20€ sisältäen sitsitarjoilut sekä haalarimerkin. Ps. sitseillä on muutakin kuin pelkkiä suolakurkkuja tarjolla 😀
Liput kevään hiukeimmille sitseille myydään Kide.appissa 6.4. osana TuKYn vapputapahtumien yhteislipunmyyntiä. Linkki lipunmyyntiin tulee myöhemmin sähköpostiin sekä Instagramiin (@nesutuky).

You wake up groggy in your bed. You glance to the side and see an open jar of pickles on your nightstand. Strange, but maybe you just left it there last night. You try to recall what happened yesterday, but nothing really comes to mind. Well, you can’t be expected to remember everything during May Day anyway. So you shrug it off and continue with your day.
Later in the day, you head to Monttu to grab something to eat. The food is heavily pickle‑themed, which is a bit odd but not yet alarming. However, it doesn’t take long before you start seeing pickles everywhere: on social media, in the hallways, even in lecture slides. Suddenly no one talks about anything except pickles. You become convinced that some sort of mass psychosis has taken over the entire university.
Eventually everything clicks into place and you realize what’s going on. Clearly fate has been guiding you in the right direction and dropping hints about the fun that awaits tonight. This isn’t a societal crisis at all — it’s the long‑awaited Sitz & Pickles May Day sitz!
NESU‑TuKY’s Sitz & Pickles May Day sitz will be held in Monttu on Saturday, April 25th. The sitz cost €20, which includes the dinner and an overall patch. P.S. There will be more than just pickles served at the sitz 😀
Tickets for the most amazing sitz of the spring will be sold on Kide.app on April 6th as part of TuKY’s joint Vappu ticket release. The ticket link will be shared later via email and on Instagram (@nesutuky).
