Executive Director

Turun KY is recruiting an Executive Director for employment starting on November 1st, 2025. The new and current Executive Director will work simultaneously throughout November. From the beginning of December, the new Executive Director will work independently.

The Executive Director is responsible for the daily operations of the association together with the Board. The employment is fixed-term for one year, after which the contract becomes valid until further notice.

The Executive Director’s tasks include:

  • Managing TuKY’s office and taking care of office duties
  • Managing Parkki together with the Head of Premises
  • Acting as Secretary of the TuKY Board
  • Advocacy tasks and handling member and permit-related matters
  • Maintaining contact with stakeholders and representing the association
  • Supporting and training TuKY’s various clubs, committees, etc.
  • Other various projects

Requirements for applicants:

  • Familiarity with TuKY’s operations
  • Good interpersonal skills as well as fluent oral and written communication, both in English and Finnish
  • Diligence, strong organizational skills, and self-direction
  • Willingness to develop TuKY’s operations

Considered an advantage:

  • Previous activity in TuKY or another student organization
  • Experience in stakeholder relations

The position is designed to be performed alongside studies; the working time defined in the employment contract is 17.5 hours per week. The monthly salary is €525, and additional working hours are compensated at €7.5/h.

Sales Manager

TuKY is recruiting a Sales Manager for an employment starting on December 1st, 2025. The new and current Sales Manager will work simultaneously throughout December. From the beginning of the year, the new Sales Manager will work independently.

The Sales Manager is responsible for TuKY’s corporate relations sector together with the TuKY Corporate Relations Team (CORE) and acts as the supervisor of the team. The employment is fixed-term for one year, after which the contract becomes valid until further notice.

The Sales Manager’s tasks include:

  • Developing and managing partnerships
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Leading TuKY’s corporate relations and acting as the sector’s expert
  • Acting as the supervisor of the TuKY Corporate Relations Team
  • Being responsible for the Poikkitieteelliset haalaribileet -event concept
  • Working with TuKY’s Board and other employees

Requirements for applicants:

  • Good interpersonal skills as well as fluent oral and written communication, both in English and Finnish
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, and listen
  • Organizational ability and willingness to grow into a strong professional in sales
  • Ideas and motivation to develop TuKY’s corporate relations sector
  • Willingness to learn supervisory work
  • Enthusiasm for leading a team and developing the entire TuKY Corporate Relations Team

Considered an advantage:

  • Previous experience at TuKY or in other voluntary work, especially in corporate relations
  • Experience in sales and partnership management
  • Knowledge of TuKY’s corporate relations sector
  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Previous experience in people-oriented/coach-like supervisory work
