Turun kauppatieteiden ylioppilaat ry j\u00e4rjest\u00e4\u00e4 s\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00f6m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4isen syyskokouksen maanantaina 2.11.2026 klo 16:00 Turun kauppakorkeakoulun Osuuskauppa-salissa.<\/p>\n

Yhdistyksen kokous k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 yhdistyksen ylint\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6svaltaa. Kokouksessa \u00e4\u00e4nivaltaisia ovat kaikki yhdistyksen varsinaiset j\u00e4senet. Omaa \u00e4\u00e4nioikeuttaan voi k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 vain paikan p\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 kokouksessa. Kokousta voi seurata my\u00f6s livestreamin kautta, mutta huomaathan, ett\u00e4 et\u00e4n\u00e4 ei ole mahdollista \u00e4\u00e4nest\u00e4\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Kokouksessa esitet\u00e4\u00e4n hyv\u00e4ksytt\u00e4viksi s\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00f6m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4isin\u00e4 Turun KY:n talousarvio, toimintasuunnitelma, j\u00e4senmaksu, tilintarkastajien valinta ja kunniaseuran kokoonpano vuodelle 2027. Syyskokouksessa valitaan my\u00f6s yhdistyksen hallitus vuodelle 2027.<\/p>\n

Vastausaika Turun KY:n hallitushaun ennakkokysymyksiin sulkeutuu sunnuntaina 25.10. klo 23:59. Ennakkokysymykset l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4t Turun KY:n nettisivuilta<\/a>. Ennakkoon ehdokkaaksi ilmoittautuneet ja heid\u00e4n vastauksensa ennakkokysymyksiin voit lukea maanantaista 26.10. alkaen Turun KY:n nettisivuilta<\/a>. Ehdolle voi asettua kuitenkin viel\u00e4 itse syyskokouksessa sek\u00e4 Osuuskauppa-salissa j\u00e4rjestett\u00e4v\u00e4ss\u00e4 hallitushaastattelussa perjantaina 30.10.2026 klo 16:30. Hallitushaastattelun kysymyksiin ei voi vastata et\u00e4n\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Kokouksen nopeuttamiseksi liitteisiin tulee perehty\u00e4 huolellisesti jo ennen kokousta ja mahdolliset muutosesitykset ja kysymykset mietti\u00e4 etuk\u00e4teen. Syyskokouksessa hallitushakijoiden esitt\u00e4ytymisaika on rajattu, mink\u00e4 takia kannustamme esitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n laajemmat yleis\u00f6kysymykset ehdokkaille jo hallitushaastattelussa kokousta edelt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 perjantaina. Ep\u00e4selviss\u00e4 tilanteissa kysymyksi\u00e4 voi ja kannattaa esitt\u00e4\u00e4 etuk\u00e4teen hallituksen puheenjohtajalle Emma Torniaiselle (puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi).<\/p>\n

Turun kauppatieteiden ylioppilaat ry (The Association of Economics Students\u2019 in Turku) will hold its statutory Autumn Assembly on Monday, 2nd<\/b>\u00a0of November 2026 at 16:00 in Osuuskauppasali<\/b> at Turku School of Economics.<\/b><\/p>\n

The General Meeting holds the highest decision-making power of the Association. All regular members of the Association have the right to vote at the meeting. Voting rights may only be exercised in person at the meeting venue. The meeting will also be streamed live, but please note that remote participation does not entitle you to vote.<\/p>\n

The meeting will decide on the following statutory matters for the year 2027: the budget, the action plan, the membership fee, the election of auditors, and the composition of the Honorary Committee. The Board of the Association for 2027 will also be elected at the Autumn General Meeting.<\/p>\n

The response period for Turun KY\u2019s board application preliminary questions closes on Sunday, October 25th, at 11:59 PM. The pre-questions can be found on Turun KY\u2019s website<\/a>. You can read the pre-announced board candidates and their answers to preliminary questions on Turun KY\u2019s website on Monday 26th of October. However, candidates may still nominate themselves either during the Autumn Meeting or at the Board grill, which will take place on Friday, 30<\/b>\u00a0of October 2026 at 16:30 in Osuuskauppasali.<\/b> Please note that remote participation in the Board grill is not possible.<\/p>\n

Board candidates are expected to attend the Autumn Meeting in person at Osuuskauppasali. Applying for a board position remotely is possible only for a particularly compelling reason, and this must be communicated in advance to the Chair of the Board\u00a0(puheenjohtaja@tuky.fi) no later than Monday, 2nd\u00a0of November 2026 at 12:00.<\/p>\n

Excerpt from the Associations Act: The board or the general meeting of an association may decide that members are allowed to participate in the meeting, in addition to what is provided in subsections 1\u20133, by post or by using a data connection and a technical device before or during the meeting, unless restricted or prohibited by the association\u2019s rules. The board or the general meeting may also decide that only some of the members\u2019 rights can be exercised in this manner and only in the manner determined by the board or the meeting, unless otherwise provided in the rules.<\/em><\/p>\n

All members are welcome to follow the meeting and present questions either on-site or via the YouTube livestream. The link to the stream will be published on Turun KY\u2019s website\u2019s event calendar and Instagram.<\/p>\n

The assembly’s appendices have been sent out by the Chair of the Board via email. To ensure an efficient meeting, please familiarise yourself with all appendices in advance and consider any possible amendment proposals or questions beforehand. At the Autumn Assembly, the time for board candidates\u2019 introductions will be limited, so we encourage you to present broader questions to the candidates already during the Board Interviews on the preceding Friday.
