Even though in creative work the imagination knows no boundaries, unfortunately the account balance does. This problem is solved by the business relations team that contacts different businesses and makes sponsorship deals in preparation for spring\u2019s performance season. These deals are crucial to our budget, as they allow more money for things such as set design, costuming, tech, and parties. We hope our team members possess the salesperson\u2019s mindset and self-initiative as well as thinking outside the box when contacting possible sponsors! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The costume team are like the fairy godmothers for Cinderella, who in this case happen to be the performance teams. The team\u2019s objective is to make the director\u2019s and team leader\u2019s vision a reality. The applicants are not expected to have a background in sewing, it\u2019s enough to have a passion for visual and creative work! When planning the costumes, flea markets are the place to be. No need to stress having to create entire articles of clothing from nothing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team acquires the needed equipment and uses the performers\u2019 heads as their canvas. The wanted result may be Marilyn Monroe or an insane scientist\u2019s burnt hair and face. This team knows no bounds in creativity! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s possible to sit on stage, but it would be better if the character had a chair\u2026 Luckily, we have the set design team to save the day! The team is responsible for bringing to life the vision the director and team leader have in mind regarding set design. The scene can be set, for example, in a bathroom or at a bus stop, so the set design has to bring the audience along visually. The team plans, makes, and acquires everything needed to complete the visuals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do you want to be the one to literally put the actors in the spotlight?! The technical team\u2019s biggest workload is during the performance season, as the team is responsible for sound and lighting. Before this, the team works together with the director to map out what kinds of technical details are needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can you do a bit of everything? Do you like varied job assignments in a flexible environment? The party and support team makes sure that the production chugs along smoothly, and that the members aren\u2019t all work and no play. The team members\u2019 job includes, for example, physical marketing and organizing parties, and, during performance season, checking tickets, selling baked goods during intermission, and helping out the stage manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
