As members of the Student Union all undergraduate students are entitled to student health care services provided by the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS, YTHS in Finnish). Against a small fee students can visit general health care such as the dentist and doctors as well as various specialists (for example dermatologist, gynecologist, laboratory services, X-ray and mental health care).

Accommodation for foreign students in Turku has been arranged in co-operation with The Student Village Foundation of Turku(TYS). TYS has thousands of residences in Turku area meant for all students of post-secondary schools. Student Cafeterias are definitely the cheapest alternative for eating. The price for students varies between 1.70€ to 2.60€ depending on the chosen meal and chosen cafeteria. This is because the meals for students are subsidized by the government. The sum will most often cover one hot meal, salad, bread and one glass of refreshment (the water is free). In order to get the student price you need to have your Student ID Card with you.

There are many student cafeterias in the campus area. The closest one (restaurant Monttu) is the cafeteria at the Turku School of Economics premises.
